The Titanium Mug is an ultralight, tough single walled camping mug with a handle. So you can use it directly over heat to boil water should you need to.
This makes it very useful as part of a micro cookset should you only ever need to boil 450ml of water over a Triad stove for example.
It certainly transfers heat well and retains it, to keep your night time mug of cocoa warm for as long as possible, without burning your lips like some insulated mugs we can mention.
If you are sensitive to heat on your lips, I've noticed that some people are now putting an thick elasticated charity band around the lip of the mug, to make it much cooler to the touch.
Ultimately, it can sit within most standard or titanium cooksets taking up virtually no room and adding just a few grammes!
